Job summary

Jobgether on behalf of a partner company in Switzerland seeks an IT Operations & Cybersecurity Specialist. You will manage day-to-day IT administration, support users, and maintain secure digital environments for multiple clients in a remote, hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Two+ years hands-on IT ops, helpdesk, or sysadmin experience.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Experience with MDM solutions like Intune or Jamf.
• Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for task automation.
• Strong written and spoken English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• IT Administration: manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and licenses in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Endpoint Management: onboard Windows/macOS devices to MDM, manage configurations.
• Technical Support: handle first-line requests, password resets, access issues, troubleshooting, escalate when needed.
• IT Maintenance and Monitoring: weekly checks on patch status, backups, security alerts, system health.
• Documentation and Process Improvement: write fixes, SOPs, and runbooks to improve efficiency.
• Cybersecurity Projects: dedicate ~20% of time to security initiatives, CVE research, hardening scripts, incident-playbooks, ISO 27001 checklists.
• Continuous Improvement: streamline IT workflows and security across distributed clients.
