Zusammenfassung

GLEIF is seeking a System Administrator / IT-Security Engineer to operate and support its server environment and network infrastructure. You will work with Frankfurt user admins and internal IT to ensure service quality, scope, and timeliness of support. The role requires a proactive, collaborative approach in a fast-moving setting.

You will manage patching, SIEM/SOAR, monitoring, and security, while maintaining thorough technical documentation and supporting developers and IT staff.

Qualifikationen

• Three+ years of professional systems operations experience (e.g., LAMP stack).
• Excellent Linux command line skills (bash); Ansible scripting.
• Experience with highly available, distributed, and virtualized systems.
• Good understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, and load balancing.
• Experience in MariaDB databases and Galera clusters (backup, restore, replication).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and GitLab CI tooling.
• Ability to use monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Knowledge of security principles and best practices.
• Strong analytical thinking and process understanding.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Technical management and patching of software applications and infrastructure.
• Design, implement, and operate SIEM/SOAR solutions.
• Monitor and improve security and vulnerability handling.
• Manage databases and performance tuning (MariaDB/Galera).
