Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a System Administrator I in Switzerland. The role provides remote-first IT support to clients, troubleshooting Windows and macOS, server infrastructure, cloud services, and network issues while maintaining secure, reliable environments and strong client service.

You will administer Microsoft 365, virtualization, and endpoint security, contribute to incident resolution, assist other technicians, monitor KPIs, and participate in on-call

Qualifications

• At least three years of professional IT support or systems administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and macOS troubleshooting and support.
• Windows Server 2016–2025 administration and troubleshooting experience.
• VMware and Hyper-V virtualization experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Entra ID, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
• Networking basics and security fundamentals including firewalls and connectivity.
• Experience supporting business applications and endpoint security tools.
• Experience working for an MSP is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windows and macOS workstations.
• Manage server environments and maintain Windows Server infrastructure (2016–2025).
• Administer Microsoft 365 and cloud services, including Entra ID, Azure and AD.
• Support virtualization technologies using VMware and Hyper-V.
• Assist with Sage ERP and QuickBooks issues and coordinate with vendors.
• Troubleshoot networking, firewall, and connectivity issues.
• Support endpoint security, backups, mobile devices and business applications.
• Escalate complex issues and mentor other technicians as needed.
