Lever, Inc. in Switzerland is seeking a Freight Audit & Billing Manager for a remote role to own carrier and customer billing end-to-end in a growing international logistics setting.

You will audit invoices from FedEx, DHL, UPS, and others; dispute charges, re-bill customers, and lead a Billing Specialist. Strong Excel skills and English fluency are required. This position emphasizes automation, data analysis, and collaboration with carriers to build scalable billing processes.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years in billing, freight audit, or carrier back-office functions.
• Experience with DHL/UPS/FedEx or freight forwarding is preferred.
• Proven end-to-end process ownership in billing or reconciliation.
• Ability to challenge charges with large organizations and follow up.

Aufgaben

• Audit incoming carrier invoices and identify surcharges, weight corrections, and other unjustified charges.
• Dispute incorrect charges, maintain open disputes, and ensure credits are received.
• Re-bill legitimate carrier charges to customers and monitor uncollected items.
• Own customer-side billing, including invoicing, credits, refunds, and collections.
• Coordinate with carrier billing teams and support rate negotiations.
• Define requirements for internal billing module; collaborate with developers.
• Support automation of invoice imports, audit rules, and reconciliations.
• Guide the Billing Specialist and review daily routines and quality.
• Document processes to support consistency and scalability.
• Prepare monthly reports covering audit coverage and recovery metrics.
• Identify opportunities to replace manual workflows with automation.
