HITACHI ENERGY LTD in Zurich seeks an Area Sales Manager to drive market penetration and profitable growth of GIS and GCB service offerings. Lead local sales teams, foster customer relationships, and leverage digital tools to deliver service excellence.

The role requires technical/commercial education, strong sales experience, and a service mindset with negotiation skills. Travel up to 50% and collaboration across countries are expected.

Formación

• Degree in a technical or commercial discipline.
• Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Customer-focused approach and ability to build trusted relationships across markets.
• Experience with Salesforce, SAP, and other digital sales tools.
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as Spanish are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute go-to-market strategies with service sales teams and partners to drive order growth.
• Lead sales and marketing activities for maintenance and service solutions and optimize pricing.
• Analyze installed base data and market needs to grow the maintenance sales pipeline.
• Build strong customer relationships and enable service sales teams through knowledge sharing.
• Manage the service project offer process from opportunity to contract and handover.
