Hitachi Energy in Zürich‑Oerlikon is seeking a Project Lead Engineer to drive end‑to‑end GIS project execution, from planning to delivery. You will oversee technical design, procurement, and stakeholder interactions to ensure quality, budget, and deadlines are met.

To succeed, you will coordinate with R&D, production, and suppliers, manage documentation and material requirements, and provide on‑site support during commissioning.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably GIS or high‑voltage equipment.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (Creo, AutoCAD) for design documentation.
• Experience with SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and scheduling tools.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities to resolve project issues.

Aufgaben

• Develop and manage technical project plans aligned with customer requirements and internal processes.
• Prepare and review engineering documents, specifications, drawings, and material lists.
• Coordinate with customers, internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors as the technical lead.
• Define material requirements, oversee procurement, and ensure correct configurations for fabrication.
• Track costs and timelines; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement; support commissioning on site.
