Job summary

BD is seeking a Portfolio Execution & Lifecycle Management Manager to translate portfolio strategy into market-ready launches across the region. Based in Eysins, Vaud, you will lead cross-functional teams from marketing, supply chain to sales to drive introductions and lifecycle optimization.

In this high-visibility role, you will coordinate country sequencing, ensure commercial and operational readiness, and monitor portfolio performance to maximize impact, with 30-50% travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Proven expertise in product lifecycle management and portfolio optimization.
• Successful track record of planning and delivering product launches.
• Experience collaborating across regional and country-level organizations.
• Strong understanding of commercial execution, demand planning, and distribution management.
• Strategic professional with strong commercial and analytical competence.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills across cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Translate portfolio strategy into actionable launch plans.
• Lead the execution of new product launch initiatives and deployment activities.
• Define country launch sequencing and coordinate market rollouts.
• Ensure readiness across countries (commercial, market, operational).
• Equip local teams with tools, messaging, and resources for adoption.
• Manage portfolio rationalization, discontinuations, transitions, and lifecycle optimization.
• Partner with supply chain and demand planning to ensure product availability and mitigate risks.
• Drive deployment of portfolio execution plans across markets.
• Monitor portfolio performance and seek opportunities to improve commercial impact.
• Deliver campaigns and communications aligned with regional priorities.
• Build partnerships with regional and country collaborators; influence decisions without direct authority.
• Ensure alignment between marketing, sales, operations, and supply chain.
