Zusammenfassung

HUBER+SUHNER is seeking a manufacturing process specialist to standardize and improve assembly instructions and related documentation for jumper products. You will develop SOPs, PFMEAs, control plans, and ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.

You will collaborate with Global AG teams across sites, manage spare parts procurement, and drive process standardization while supporting production operations and continuous improvement initiatives, with ability to travel as needed.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of process experience in manufacturing.
• Automation knowledge in FO preferred.
• Fiber optics knowledge and players in the field.
• Fluent English (reading and writing).
• Strong communication and creative mindset.

Your tasks

• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve assembly instructions, manufacturing processes, tooling specifications, safety procedures, and related documentation for both new and existing jumper products, ensuring compliance with product specifications, workmanship standards, customer requirements, and Application Engineering requests
• Develop and maintain SOPs, PFMEAs, control plans, and other manufacturing documentation required to support safe, efficient, and standardized production operations
• Manage the procurement and preparation of spare parts and consumables for production equipment. Establish and maintain equipment databases, and oversee the control and maintenance of assembly fixtures, jigs, and tooling while driving process standardization initiatives across manufacturing operations
• Collaborate closely with the Global AG team on process transfer activities, best practice sharing, and new technology or knowledge deployment to ensure alignment across sites
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Your profile

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or related fields
• 3+ years process experience in manufacturing
• Solid technical background in FO related, automation knowledge is preferred
• Good understanding of Fiber Optical related Knowledge, their dynamics and players
• Fluent English skills (reading and written)
• Good communication skill, open, creative
• Willing to travel as required
