HUBER+SUHNER AG in Switzerland is seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive the strategy and lifecycle of our mobile network product portfolio, including fiber optics and power dimensioning expertise. You will collaborate with global operators, translate market needs into specifications, and lead development with R&D teams.

You will lead launches, manage profitability, and collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations.

Your tasks

• Advise and collaborate with global mobile network operators to support the deployment of customized connectivity solutions
• Serve as the technical consultant for internal and external stakeholders on the electrical and fiber optic dimensioning of mobile networks and cell sites
• Translate market trends and customer requirements into specifications for new products, solutions, and services
• Initiate and sponsor product development projects, working closely with R&D teams throughout the entire development process
• Conduct market research and competitive analyses, transforming insights into compelling business opportunities and growth initiatives
• Define and execute product strategies and drive successful global product launches
• Manage the entire product life cycle of the assigned product portfolio, ensuring profitability, competitiveness, and scalability
• Lead product-focused sales enablement and promotional activities in close collaboration with sales and market management teams
• Support customer visits, industry events, and exhibitions to strengthen market presence and customer engagement
• Act as the key interface between customers, sales, marketing, operations, and R&D to ensure sustainable product success

Your profile

• Technical background combined with further education in Business Administration, Engineering Management, or a related field (e.g. University of Applied Sciences or University degree)
• Solid electrical engineering knowledge, particularly in the dimensioning of power lines for mobile applications
• Proven experience as a Product Manager in a technical environment
• Knowledge of fiber optic technologies and mobile network applications would be an advantage
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and structured working style
• Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to identify market needs and translate them into successful product strategies
• Proactive, results-driven, and ambitious personality with a passion for driving product success
• Quick learner with a strong can-do mentality, high level of initiative and a structured, solution-oriented way of working
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 10% of working time)
• Fluent English and German skills
