Huber+Suhner AG in Switzerland is seeking a motivated Continuous Improvement Engineer to strengthen our operational excellence journey. The Local Lean Champion leads Lean transformation projects, analyzes processes, and optimizes safety, quality, cost, and delivery with cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, project leadership, and collaboration with production, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain to support local and global objectives.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years in continuous improvement or operational excellence in industrial/multinational.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving.
• Data-driven with strong analytical skills.
• Fluency in English and excellent communication.

Aufgaben

• Identify, lead, and implement continuous improvement projects (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S, VSM, SMED).
• Analyse production processes and KPIs to identify waste and optimization opportunities.
• Support production teams in problem-solving using structured methodologies (Root Cause Analysis, PDCA, DMAIC).
• Facilitate Kaizen workshops and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure sustainable performance improvements.
• Standardize best practices and knowledge transfer across departments.
• Support digitalization and process optimization initiatives where applicable.
• Promote a continuous improvement culture across the organization.
• Location-related logistics and coordination with the plant leadership.

Responsibilities

Qualifications & Requirements

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in continuous improvement or operational excellence within an industrial or multinational environment
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methodologies
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Strong adaptability and ability to work in a dynamic industrial environment
