Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Manager, Platform Mngr, PLM to lead the PLM technology platform supporting R&D. This hybrid role will cooperate with global teams to enable compliant, scalable product development aligned with regulatory requirements and digital transformation goals.

You will own strategy and roadmap, manage vendor relationships and budgets, and lead a high-performing team focused on data integrity and best practices across the R&D tech stack.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of progressive IT/digital technology experience supporting R&D, engineering, or product development.
• Strong technical skills: PLM ownership, configuration, integrations, upgrades.
• Knowledge of regulated product development environments, including design controls and data traceability.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, value-driven outcomes for senior stakeholders.
• Proven leadership: people management, coaching, performance management, inclusive teams.
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, and SLAs for enterprise platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in a global, cross-functional setting.

Responsibilities

• Own the PLM technology platform end-to-end for R&D, ensuring stable, secure, compliant operations.
• Define and execute PLM strategy and roadmap aligned with R&D, Quality, and IT.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into PLM solutions.
• Lead platform enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure PLM solutions meet regulatory, quality, cybersecurity, and data governance requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships, service delivery, and budgets for PLM technologies.
• Lead and develop a high-performing technology team.
• Drive adoption of standardized processes and data integrity across R&D tech landscape.
