Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes division seeks a Manager, Platform Mngr, PLM to lead the PLM technology platform for R&D. The role oversees strategy, governance, and ecosystem alignment with quality, regulatory, and digital transformation initiatives.

The position requires 6–8 years in IT/digital roles, strong PLM expertise, and proven leadership in a global, cross‑functional setting. Hybrid work and international travel (10–20%) are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or Technology Management.
• 6–8 years in IT/digital roles supporting R&D, engineering, or product development.
• Strong PLM platform ownership, configuration, integrations, and upgrades.
• Experience in regulated product development environments with design controls and data traceability.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Vendor management, budgeting, and SLA governance for enterprise tech.
• Excellent communication with global stakeholders and teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the PLM technology platform end‑to‑end across the product lifecycle.
• Define and execute PLM strategy and roadmap aligned with R&D and Quality.
• Collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to translate needs.
• Lead platform enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure PLM complies with regulatory, quality, cybersecurity, and data governance.
• Manage vendor relationships, services, and budgets for PLM tech.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing technology team.
• Drive standardized processes and data integrity across the R&D tech landscape.
