Dentsu is seeking a Payroll Specialist for a meaningful temporary assignment in Zürich. You will support end-to-end payroll operations for a multinational matrix organization, ensuring accurate and timely payments.

Join a hands-on HR team to develop Swiss payroll expertise, handle data validation, accruals, and audits while collaborating with Finance and external providers. English fluency is required; German/French a plus.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of payroll experience.
• Knowledge of Swiss payroll regulations (AHV, pensions, cantons).
• Experience with payroll systems (Dynamics 365 a plus).
• Experience with HRIS (WorkDay a plus) and Excel data analysis.

Aufgaben

We're looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist who is eager to learn, positive, and genuinely hands-on to support our end-to-end payroll operations for a multinational, matrix organization. Working alongside experienced HR & Finance teams, you'll develop hands-on expertise in Swiss payroll compliance while ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time.

Job Description

What You'll Do

• Manage core payroll execution with our external provider and internal People Services team, including validation of data changes and final payment processing
• Support payroll month-end activities including accruals, forecasting, and presentation to leadership for approval
• Coordinate with Finance teams on cost allocation, reconciliation of taxes and social contributions (AVS, pension), and budget reporting
• Handle statutory declarations and support audit activities with Swiss authorities (FER CIAM, canton-level requirements)
• Process HR-related invoices and follow up with social insurance providers
• Support escalated questions on salary calculations and administrative payroll matters with internal stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of payroll experience
• Sound knowledge of Swiss payroll regulations (AHV, social insurances, pension, canton requirements)
• Familiarity with payroll systems (Dynamics 365 a plus), HRIS (WorkDay a plus) and Excel for data analysis
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Full fluency in English (German and/or French is a plus)
