Job summary

The International Road Federation (IRF) is seeking a motivated Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of ongoing projects. The role collaborates with project coordinators and consortium partners to ensure delivery within scope, budget and timeline.

Preference is given to candidates in Geneva; remote work within Switzerland is possible for this 6-month fixed-term contract. Key responsibilities include delivering work plans, reporting, documentation, risk management and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field and PMP is a plus.
• Proven experience delivering projects and managing teams.
• Mobility sector experience with CCAM or sustainable urban mobility is a plus.
• 2+ years working with EC Horizon 2020/Europe programmes.
• Fluent in English; other languages are advantageous.
• Based in Switzerland with Swiss/EU citizenship or valid work permit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IRF's project activities, keeping plans and timelines on track.
• Coordinate project activities with coordinators and consortium partners.
• Maintain open communication with stakeholders and provide progress updates.
• Prepare deliverables, reports, and project documentation including meeting minutes.
• Ensure quality standards and achievement of project objectives.
• Monitor budgets, expenses and resources within agreed limits.
• Identify risks and manage changes to scope, schedule or costs.
• Support project closure and capture lessons learned.
