Zusammenfassung

The Mountain Research Initiative, hosted at the University of Bern, is seeking a Scientific Project Officer to assist in various coordination tasks related to mountain research and activities.

This part-time, 6-month temporary contract covers maternity leave, starting on or before September 1, 2026. Responsibilities include assisting in event facilitation, promoting mountain visibility in research, and supporting communications efforts. The position is located in Bern, Switzerland.

Qualifikationen

• At least 2 years’ experience in project management related activities.
• Demonstrable interest in facilitating inter- and transdisciplinary research collaborations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Aufgaben

• Assist with coordination and implementation of MRI activities.
• Contribute to events organization and facilitation.
• Promote visibility of mountain research in scientific organizations.
