Qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • Fluency in English; another UN language is a plus.
  • Understanding of humanitarian-development-peace nexus in displacement contexts.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
  • Motivation to support refugee protection and displacement work.
  • Experience with development projects at various levels.
  • Experience with international financing institutions or development banks.
  • Understanding of mandates of international and regional actors.
  • Familiarity with refugee and migration law and statelessness.
  • Experience with instructional design tools or digital platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Research priorities and plans of development actors in humanitarian-development-peace context.
  • Map partnership and funding opportunities for learning initiatives and capacity sharing.
  • Analyze trends in protection of displaced persons and sustainable development actions.
  • Support capacity-building initiatives and related events.
  • Maintain and update the partnerships tracker for the department.
