LHH in Bern is seeking an experienced Medical Information Specialist to join its global Medical Affairs team. You will deliver evidence-based medical information to healthcare professionals, patients, and internal stakeholders, and contribute to medical content development and material reviews.

Aufgaben

• Provide timely, accurate, balanced medical information to healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and internal teams via various channels.
• Respond to complex and escalated global medical inquiries from healthcare professionals.
• Develop, maintain, and update SRLs, FAQs, and other medical information resources.
• Participate in the medical and scientific review of promotional and non-promotional materials for compliance.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development, Pharmacovigilance, Quality, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Global Medical Operations.
• Lead or support planning and staffing of Medical Affairs booths at congresses, providing scientific support.
• Ensure adherence to global medical information processes, standards, and best practices.
• Document inquiries and generate customer insights using medical information systems.
• Analyze inquiry trends to shape medical strategies and future content.

We are looking for an experienced Medical Information Specialist to join a global Medical Affairs team in Bern.

In this role, you will serve as a key scientific resource, providing accurate, evidence-based medical information to healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and internal stakeholders. You will also contribute to the development of medical content, support promotional material reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and scientific excellence.

Main Responsibilities :

• Provide timely, accurate, balanced, and scientifically sound medical information in response to unsolicited inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and internal teams through various communication channels (phone, email, live chat, and Medical Information Request Forms).
• Manage and respond to complex and escalated global medical inquiries from healthcare professionals.
• Develop, maintain, and update Standard Response Letters (SRLs), Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), and other medical information resources to ensure the global Medical Information database remains current and evidence-based.
• Participate in the medical and scientific review of promotional and non-promotional materials, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and scientific accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Clinical Development, Pharmacovigilance, Quality, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Global Medical Operations teams.
• Lead or support the planning and staffing of Medical Affairs booths at national and international medical congresses, providing scientific support and information to customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to global medical information processes, standards, and best practices.
• Utilize medical information systems to accurately document inquiries, generate customer insights, and communicate emerging medical trends and insights to relevant stakeholders.
• Analyze medical inquiry trends and customer insights to help shape medical strategies and support the development of future medical content.

Your Profile:

• Experience in Medical Information, Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, Pharmacovigilance, or a related pharmaceutical/biotech field.
• Strong ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific and medical data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in a regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences environment.
• Familiarity with the review of medical and promotional materials is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional and international teams.
