Job-Room in Zug, Switzerland is seeking an experienced mechatronics integration engineer for a part-time contract (90–100%). You will drive system integration of hardware and software, parametrize firmware, and lead robustness testing across electromechanical platforms.

Requirements include a BSc/MSc in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems or Mechatronics and at least 5 years in HW/SW integration or related testing, with English fluency and German a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on HW/SW integration experience.
• Unit and system-level testing experience.
• Mechatronic troubleshooting background.
• Linux scripting and test automation preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead the integration of hardware and software modules into a cohesive system.
• Parametrize hardware and firmware to optimize performance and reliability.
• Design and run advanced electromechanical tests (MTBF/MTBRV focused).
• Monitor parameters and data logs to derive actionable improvements.
• Perform root-cause analysis and collaborative troubleshooting across teams.
• Bridge R&D and Operations to ensure robust handover to manufacturing.
