Qualifikationen

• A BSc/MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• 5 years of hands-on experience in HW/SW integration, unit- and system-level testing, or mechatronic troubleshooting.
• Experience in a regulated environment (MedTech, Diagnostics, IVD, or GxP) is a strong advantage.
• Technical toolkit: deep understanding of mechatronics and its interaction with firmware and software; scripting for test execution and automation; Linux environment.
• Mindset: curious investigator, eager to explore AI-assisted tools for hardware testing and data analysis; precise and collaborative.
• Fluency in English is required; German is a great advantage for local collaboration.

Aufgaben

• Driving System Integration & Integrity: lead the physical and logical integration of hardware and software modules.
• Hardware Parametrization & Firmware Interaction: define critical parameters, configure test software, and parameterize firmware/software.
• Proactive Robustness & Endurance Testing: design electromechanical test setups and long-term reliability tests (MTBF/MTBRV).
• Transforming Data into Insight: monitor parameters, analyze logs, and turn observations into improvements.
• Collaborative Troubleshooting & Root-Cause Analysis: own mechatronic issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Bridge-Building across R&D and Operations: support transfer of robust designs to manufacturing and service partners.
