Andermatt Swiss Alps AG is seeking a senior hospitality leader to drive the pre-opening phase and lead daily luxury hotel operations. You will translate brand positioning into guest journeys and signature moments, while setting up systems, SOPs and opening checklists.

The role includes recruiting the leadership team, obtaining licences, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will manage budgets, forecasts and GOP, while maintaining exceptional service standards and strong relationships with

Competenze

• Degree or diploma in hospitality management (further management education an advantage).
• 10+ years in luxury hotels; 3–5 years as Hotel Manager or Director of Operations.
• At least one full hotel pre-opening from planning to opening.
• Experience with leading luxury brands or independent luxury hotels (e.g. Leading Hotels of the World).
• Seasonal resort or alpine operations experience an advantage.
• Inspiring, hands-on leadership with a passion for personalised service at the highest level.
• Strong budgeting, P&L and cost control knowledge.
• Polished, diplomatic communication and a strong presence.
• Fluent German and English at C1 level; Italian or French an advantage.

• Developing and driving the operational pre-opening critical path up to the opening date.
• Translating the hotel's positioning into service concepts, guest journeys and signature moments.
• Contributing the operational and guest perspective to construction, fit-out and snagging.
• Setting up and testing operating systems and creating SOPs and opening checklists.
• Recruiting, onboarding and training the leadership team and employees.
• Obtaining operating licences and ensuring compliance with labour law and the L-GAV.
• Leading day-to-day operations of all departments as the visible host.
• Managing guest satisfaction, online reputation and quality audits.
• Taking responsibility for budgets, forecasts, revenue, costs and GOP.
• Building strong relationships with owners, partners and the destination.
