Zusammenfassung

Viking is seeking a guest services professional to ensure top-tier guest satisfaction on extended excursions. You will manage on-site arrangements, organize shore excursions, and coordinate with hotels and local guides to deliver Viking standards in Swiss itineraries.

The role requires experience in hospitality, strong English skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of German and French is advantageous; a valid Swiss work permit is required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in hotel / tourism industry
• Excellent English skills, other languages (German and French) are an asset
• Good computer knowledge (Office, MXP) administrative experience
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Positive and extravert personality, neat appearance
• Stress resistant, flexible, problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, service-oriented and guest focused
• Experience with American, British, Canadian, and Australian guests is an advantage
• Valid work permit for Switzerland

Aufgaben

• Arrival at hotel from airport/vessel and organize baggage service with porters
• Welcome guests and explain check-in procedures, provide Viking documents
• Demonstrate leadership and maintain orderliness at the Viking hospitality desk
• Suggest restaurants, make reservations, and provide city information
• Coordinate and brief local guides, handle excursions and vouchers
• Arrange departures, communicate pickup times to vessel/airport, and give a final farewell
• Coordinate with hotel staff and Viking departments to ensure guest satisfaction
