Zusammenfassung

Inter-Community School Zurich (ICS) is seeking a motivated Junior IT Support Technician to provide day-to-day technical support to students, faculty and staff in a collaborative environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on exposure to device management, school systems, networking and AV equipment.

You will join a small ICT team, work closely with the ICT Operations Manager, and have opportunities to develop your skills while delivering friendly, reliable user support.

Qualifikationen

• 1–2 years of IT support or a similar technical role.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and firewalls.
• Familiarity with Apple devices (iPads/Macs).
• Exposure to IT infrastructure components such as Active Directory, Windows, Microsoft 365.

Aufgaben

• Provides first-line support to end users for device hardware, printers, AV, user access, software, core school applications and network issues.
• Support basic configuration and troubleshooting of the school’s network, Wi-Fi and firewall.
• Assist with maintaining IT infrastructure including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and file systems.
• Assist with the management of school devices including inventory and enrolment.
• Coordination with external service providers as required.
• Record and track support requests and resolve incidents within SLAs.
• Provide support for school events with regards to AV equipment.
• Onboarding and Offboarding of students and staff.
• Collaborate on IT projects under the direction of the ICT Operations Manager.
