Job summary

BCIC Swiss GmbH | Best Connect International Company is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our on-site team in Switzerland. You will handle first- and second-level IT support, troubleshoot Windows and Mac environments, and work with vendors on complex AV issues.

Daily tasks include keeping ticket updates, communicating issue status, and assisting with printer, hardware, and network problems. Several years in user support and strong troubleshooting are required.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in IT user support or service desk environments.
• Strong knowledge of IT hardware, software, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
• Work with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
• Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
• Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office & Cisco Jabber.
• Support basic Mac OS knowledge for Apple PC users.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
• Perform remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems with network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
• Work with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
• Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
• Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS , Microsoft Office & Cisco Jabber authorized .
• Should have basic knowledge of the Mac operating system to support Apple PC users.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
• Performs remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.
