Job summary

Monte Rosa Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Technology Specialist in Basel to bridge end-user computing, systems administration, and network support with automation and AI-enabled tooling.

You will help scientists and G&A teams work smarter by deploying lightweight automations and advocating for AI copilots and agentic workflows. In this role, you will support Windows, macOS, mobile devices, and common SaaS tools while maintaining documentation and self-service resources.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience, ideally in a fast-paced life sciences/biotech environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune (Windows MDM, compliance, patch management) and macOS device management tools (Addigy, Jamf, or similar).
• Solid fundamentals in Windows and macOS administration, Active Directory/Entra ID concepts, and basic networking (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi-Fi troubleshooting).

Responsibilities

• Prototype and deploy lightweight automations (scripts, Power Automate/similar, API integrations, LLM/agentic workflows via internal tools).
• Act as a technology advocate and translator between the lab bench and IT regarding AI copilots and agentic workflows.
• Contribute to automation-first culture, documenting reusable solutions rather than one-off fixes.
• Serve as escalation point for IT Help Desk, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
• Provide in-person and remote support across Windows, macOS, mobile devices, and SaaS tools (Office 365, Okta, Zoom, Egnyte, Atlassian).
• Support conference room A/V, Zoom Rooms, and office tech for hybrid collaboration.
• Maintain IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and self-service resources.
