Rocken is seeking an IT Service & Security Engineer in Zurich to support a modern workplace and security-focused IT infrastructure. The role covers Microsoft 365 administration, identity services, and proactive system monitoring.

You will work in a collaborative environment, handling IT service processes and contributing to cyber security operations while expanding your expertise in cloud security and network services.

Qualifikationen

• Completed IT training or comparable technical background.
• Experience in IT support, IT operations, or system engineering.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
• Understanding of Active Directory and basic network services (DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with IT service management and structured support processes.
• Exposure to Atlassian, security operations, or managed security services is a plus.
• Interest in topics like Microsoft Entra ID, endpoint security, SIEM, XDR, and cloud security.

Responsibilities

• ---------------- Support and further development of a modern workplace and infrastructure platform Ensuring reliable operation of central IT services Administration of Microsoft 365 and cloud-based enterprise solutions Management of user accounts, permissions, and identity services Support in the administration of classic infrastructure components Monitoring the system landscape and early detection of technical anomalies Professional handling of support cases through structured IT service processes Analysis of faults and conducting root cause analyses Building and maintaining a modern knowledge base for IT users and internal teams Standardisation and continuous improvement of support and operational processes Participation in a Cyber Security Operations environment focusing on monitoring, analysis, and managed security services Support with security incidents and technical investigations Participation in the implementation of IT security measures and hardening concepts Evaluation and introduction of new tools for collaboration, IT service management, and security Automation of recurring tasks using modern scripting and workflow technologies

Qualifications

• Completed IT training or comparable technical background
• Practical experience in IT support, IT operations, or system engineering
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
• Understanding of Active Directory and basic network services such as DNS and DHCP
• Experience with IT service management and structured support processes
• Ideally, exposure to Atlassian, security operations, or managed security services
• Interest in topics such as Microsoft Entra ID, endpoint security, SIEM, XDR, and cloud security
• Willingness to continuously learn new technologies
• Independent and responsible working style
• Trustworthy personality with a high quality and security awareness
