Rocken is a Swiss company based in Zurich. Rocken seeks an IT System Engineer (m/f/d) to manage and develop the IT infrastructure in Winterthur, ensuring reliable and scalable operations.

You will handle 2nd and 3rd line support, plan new applications, automate with PowerShell, and work with Microsoft AD and VMware in a German/English bilingual environment.

Qualifikationen

• HF/FH in computer science or higher education is required.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in system engineering.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft environment, Active Directory and VMware.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation is a plus.
• Very good German and English skills; Microsoft certification is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Administration and further development of the IT infrastructure including virtual server and system environments.
• Planning and technical implementation of new applications and IT solutions.
• Development and optimisation of IT architectures and handling engineering tasks.
• 2nd and 3rd level support for complex technical issues.
• Analyse and resolve infrastructure disruptions and continuously optimise the system landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Administration and further development of the IT infrastructure including virtual server and system environments


• Planning and technical implementation of new applications and IT solutions


• Development and optimisation of IT architectures as well as taking on demanding engineering tasks


• Handling complex technical issues in 2nd and 3rd level support


• Analysis and resolution of infrastructure disruptions as well as continuous optimisation of the system landscape

Qualifications:

• Completed degree or higher education in computer science at HF/FH level


• At least 5 years of professional experience in system engineering


• Very good knowledge of the Microsoft environment, Active Directory and VMware


• Solid experience with PowerShell scripting and modern automation solutions
