ROCKEN, a Swiss company based in Zurich, is seeking an Infrastructure & Datacenter Engineer. The role focuses on operating and expanding modern datacentre and platform environments, supporting virtualised server landscapes, and building scalable architectures.

Qualifikationen

• IT education or comparable technical practical experience.
• Experience with server, virtualisation, or network environments.
• Knowledge in at least one of the areas HCI, virtualisation, backup, or enterprise networking.
• Ideally experience with Nutanix, VMware, Hyper-V, or comparable platforms.
• Knowledge of Veeam or another professional backup and recovery solution is an advantage.

• Analysis of complex faults across multiple infrastructure layers.
• Handling incidents and service requests at 1st and 2nd level.
• Conducting root cause analyses and sustainable optimisation of the system landscape.
• Automation of recurring operational tasks with modern tools.
• Building and maintaining structured technical documentation.
• Active engagement with new technologies in HCI, cloud, virtualisation, and cyber resilience

Qualifications:

• IT education or comparable technical practical experience
• Experience with server, virtualisation, or network environments
