Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG in Switzerland is seeking an IT Infrastructure & Network Support Specialist to act as the on-site contact for infrastructure projects, provide end-user support, and coordinate activities across internal teams, external providers and stakeholders.

You will help ensure reliable IT operations, support modern workplace technologies, and contribute to hardware deployments, documentation, and project delivery in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Completed education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience supporting IT infrastructure, networking, or workplace technology environments.
• Strong understanding of network connectivity, hardware deployment, and end-user support processes.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.
• Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the local point of contact, supporting both technical and administrative activities.
• Support infrastructure projects, including IT Hardware Lifecycle.
• Provide day-to-day IT support to end users, ensuring timely issue resolution and a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate infrastructure-related activities between departments, network providers, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, of meeting rooms and customer experience center.
• Create, maintain, and update site, network, and infrastructure documentation.
• Support hardware deployments, installations, and workplace technology setups.
• Monitor and coordinate local IT activities to ensure successful project delivery and operational continuity.
• Contribute to the standardisation and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure and workplace technologies.
