Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions via Geneva-based client seeks a Sr IT Systems & Infrastructure Engineer to optimize on‑prem and hybrid infra. You will manage Windows and Linux servers, VMware, storage and backup, while administering AD, DNS, PKI and security controls.

You will automate operations with PowerShell and IaC, lead migrations, and maintain strong documentation. Excellent English and a proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 10+ years in IT infrastructure engineering and operations (on-prem).
• Experience in scripting, automation and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience in infrastructure migrations and complex IT transformation projects.
• Excellent knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, VMware, storage and backup.
• Strong networking, Active Directory, DNS, PKI and security basics.
• Good knowledge of MS Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Very good level in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the IT infrastructure including Windows and Linux servers, VMware, storage and backups.
• Administer core services such as AD, DNS, GPO and PKI; ensure availability, security and DR readiness.
• Automate operations using PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code; troubleshoot complex issues.
• Lead technical roles in migrations and IT transformation projects; maintain documentation.
• Support security and compliance initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
