ITC Infotech, a leading global technology services provider, is seeking an Onsite Support Engineer to maintain IT infrastructure across assigned locations in Switzerland. You will perform hands-on troubleshooting, imaging devices, and coordinate with central IT teams to uphold service levels.

The role requires 8-10 years of onsite services experience in manufacturing settings, strong IT hardware/software knowledge, and excellent communication.

Formación

• 8-10 years of onsite services experience in manufacturing plants.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all organisation levels.
• Ability to learn quickly and guide junior team members.
• Works well in a team or individually; self-starter mindset.
• Proficient in desktop/laptop installation and support (Windows and Apple).
• Experience with printers, scanners, and quality-control gauges.
• Basic knowledge of servers/storage/networking equipment.
• Fluent in local language and English.

Responsabilidades

• Imaging new devices and re-imaging desktops/laptops as needed.
• Install and troubleshoot Apple devices and drivers; ensure device connectivity.
• Troubleshoot issues with printers, scanners, and QA gauges.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application and network teams to resolve site issues.
• Remote wipe and remedial actions for lost or stolen devices with client approval.
• Register devices in Endpoint Management and ensure policy compliance.
• Manage incidents and service requests escalated by ServiceDesk or other groups.
• Own resolution of desktop/laptop issues not solved by remote support.
• First point of contact for end users; escalate to Level 3 as required.
• Manage desktop encryption and antivirus/anti-malware solutions; address policy exceptions.
• Remediate desktop configuration issues to align with client policies.
• Support MS Surface Hubs/LogiTech Tap devices and AV equipment in meeting rooms.
• Provide on-site support for printers escalated by Managed Print Service.
