Benchling, Inc. seeks a senior Field CSO to lead the EMEA R&D Solution Consulting team, partnering with the GM, EMEA and the Field CTO. You’ll drive 10x science initiatives and guide R&D leaders through complex change.

You will oversee two first-line leaders and a 10-person team, shaping strategy, and aligning with Product, Marketing and global Solution Consulting. Expect extensive on-site work and international travel.

Formación

• Substantial hands-on R&D experience in biotech or pharma with a PhD or equivalent depth.
• Experience leading through other managers and engaging with C-level leaders.
• Commercial ambition and growth mindset; understands how software is sold.
• Fluency in English; German or French is a plus.
• Readiness for frequent on-site work with pharma/biotech customers in EMEA and travel to the US.
• Experience with large R&D decision processes and change management.

Responsabilidades

• Be the scientific voice in the room and sponsor large EMEA opportunities.
• Lead the 10x conversation translating vision into an actionable plan for R&D leaders.
• Develop two first-line leaders and a team of 10, ensuring regional leadership continuity.
• Shape EMEA strategy and roadmaps, collaborating with Sales, Product, and Marketing.
