GRC Global River Cruises GmbH, part of The Travel Corporation, seeks an experienced Head of IT to lead and shape our IT function across Europe and onboard systems.
You will manage a small team of three plus external partners, steer IT strategy, budgets, contracts, and security, and travel to ships for hands-on collaboration. This is a leadership role in a fast-growing SME within the hospitality tech space.
GRC Global River Cruises GmbH is part of The Travel Corporation (TTC) and manages the European river cruise operations of the TTC brands Uniworld Boutique River Cruises and Trafalgar River Cruises.
Together, our onboard teams and shoreside departments deliver exceptional river cruise experiences across Europe. We are united by professionalism, genuine care and a commitment to responsible and sustainable travel.
We are a fast-growing, internationally active SME and part of a group. Our IT is run by a small internal team together with a range of external partners. To lead our IT through the next phase of growth, we are looking for an experienced Head of IT with a hands‑on management mindset – someone who steers and shapes.
As part of our shore-based IT team, you’ll be at the heart of our digital operations, enabling our fleet and onboard teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Your work directly supports our vessels and the hospitality mission that defines GRC. You’ll operate within a culture of collaboration, shared purpose, and continuous improvement, where your contributions are valued and your ideas shape our future.
Curious and forward‑thinking, you embrace innovation and collaborate inclusively across diverse teams, with openness and teamwork coming naturally to you.
Hospitality is at your core, warm, attentive, and professionally presented, you place others’ wellbeing first and approach every task with a positive, proactive attitude.
In everything you do, you stay focused on quality and align your daily work with our broader company goals, contributing to shared success.
You’ll join a collaborative workplace where ideas are valued, and responsibility is shared early on. Our ships sail across Europe, giving you the chance to travel and grow through international exposure and cross‑functional teamwork.
We offer competitive employment conditions, a modern work environment, and a team culture built on respect and trust. More than that, you’ll be part of a company where your contribution makes a visible impact on our business, our guests, and our shared commitment to sustainable travel.
Note: Due to legal requirements, we can only accept applicants from EU/EEA/CH. We welcome internal and external candidates.
