Zusammenfassung

GRC Global River Cruises is seeking an IT leader to guide internal IT teams and coordinate with external partners aboard our European fleet. The role focuses on shaping IT strategy, ensuring secure, reliable services across offices and ships, and leading digitalisation initiatives aligned with group objectives.

You will own the IT budget, steer vendor contracts and SLAs, and advise management on technology risks and future business needs to drive sustainable value.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience leading internal IT teams and coordinating external IT partners.
• Experience developing and implementing IT strategy aligned with business goals.
• Strong budget management, cost control and reporting to management.
• Excellent English communication skills; other languages are a plus.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the internal IT team and coordinate external IT partners, creating clear priorities, responsibilities and efficient ways of working.
• Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with business objectives and the wider group/holding framework.

Specific Requirements

• Coordinate IT operations across offices and the ship fleet, ensuring reliable services and effective escalation management.
• Act as the central interface between Management, internal users, shipboard teams, Group IT and external providers.
• Establish and monitor IT service standards, KPIs and SLAs, ensuring agreed service levels are consistently achieved.
• Lead the selection, implementation and rollout of IT solutions, from requirements gathering through to implementation and user adoption.
• Ensure effective cybersecurity, access management, backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
• Manage IT assets, software licences, subscriptions and contracts, ensuring efficient utilisation and cost control.
• Prepare and monitor IT budgets, forecasts and investment proposals, providing transparent reporting to Management.
• Ensure IT solutions are scalable and future-ready, supporting continued business and fleet growth.
• Identify opportunities for digitalisation and process improvement, translating business requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English spoken and written, additional languages are an asset.
