Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Trade Control (GTC), Digital Enablement, with location options including Zug, Switzerland. You will lead digital, data, analytics, automation, and AI initiatives to strengthen compliance and enable scalable solutions across Global Trade Controls.

You will collaborate with Global Trade Controls, Transportation, and IT teams to translate regulatory requirements into technology-enabled capabilities, governance, and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in global trade compliance, trade operations, digital enablement, data analytics, or related.
• Knowledge of customs, tariff classification, origin rules, free trade agreements, valuation, export controls, screening, and reporting requirements.
• Experience leading technology, analytics, automation, data, or process‑transformation initiatives from requirements through adoption.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Global Trade Controls digital enablement roadmap, including analytics, automation, AI, data governance, and reporting.
• Translate regulations and business needs into scalable digital capabilities and user stories.
• Lead design, governance, and continuous improvement of trade tech across multiple processes.
• Identify AI and automation opportunities with proper validation and governance.
• Establish data definitions, quality requirements, ownership, controls, and performance measures.
• Develop dashboards and executive reporting to provide visibility into compliance performance and risk.
• Partner with process leads to align digital capabilities with global standards and ownership.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives and manage relationships with tech teams, data scientists, and vendors.
