Job summary

Paul Wurth S.A. in Luxembourg seeks a Technical Project Engineer / Technical Manager to coordinate engineering tasks within the Iron Production Plant & Layout department.

You will interact with customers and sub-contractors worldwide, guiding internal teams and driving design-to-cost projects. You will also support technical offers, tender layouts, and bills of quantities while leveraging AutoCAD Mechanical, CREO/AVEVA, and NavisWorks to advance innovative ironmaking solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical or civil engineering or equivalent.
• Experience coordinating engineering tasks and teams.
• Knowledge of European/International fabrication standards is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Technical project follow-up; coordination and guidance of internal design & engineering teams.
• Supervision, coordination and control of sub-contractors performing engineering works.
• Development of technical specifications for customers and/or sub-contractors.
• Support in preparation of technical offers and tender layouts.
• Development of bills of quantities for offers.
• Elaboration of deliverables lists and project follow-up.
• Follow-up / Pursuing R&D projects and design review participation.
• Develop design-to-cost engineering.
