Job summary

Alpineo Consulting is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead complex automation projects for special‑purpose machinery within a Swiss industrial group. You will bridge customers and engineering teams from feasibility through validation, coordinating mechanical, software, and R&D activities to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires a strong technical background, experience with international projects, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifications

• Higher technical education in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, automation or systems engineering.
• Experience managing international technical projects in special‑purpose machinery, industrial automation or medical equipment.
• Strong technical background with ability to assess feasibility and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in project development, customer requirements management and equipment validation processes.
• Knowledge of regulated environments; GAMP 5 would be an advantage.
• Excellent command of German and English; strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Manage international customer projects from development to delivery and acceptance.
• Assess feasibility and contribute to tender processes and technical proposals with R&D teams.
• Develop project plans and ensure delivery within timelines, budgets and quality.
• Coordinate mechanical, software, R&D and assembly teams without direct line management.
• Act as main technical/operational interface between customers and internal engineering.
• Anticipate risks, manage technical changes and implement solutions.
• Plan and oversee internal and customer FAT/SAT testing.
