Job summary

Bertrams Chemieanlagen AG in Muttenz near Basel seeks a Project Manager for international plant engineering. You will lead projects from basic design to handover, coordinating technical and commercial aspects and acting as the primary contact for customers.

We expect a graduate engineer with several years of PM experience in plant engineering, fluency in English, and enthusiasm for working in an international environment. Occasional travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate engineer in process or mechanical engineering.
• Several years' experience as project manager in plant engineering.
• Interest in international environment and cultures.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Capable of handling technical work and routine tasks.
• Ability to make decisions and represent them.

Responsibilities

• Clarification with internal departments, suppliers and customers.
• Responsible for deadlines and budget throughout the project.
• Organise internal and external status meetings.
• Design and specification of instrumentation.
• Create specifications for technical equipment.
• Supervision of construction and pipework planning.
• Coordinate construction site activities with site managers; travel up to 10%.
