Job summary

VAT Group is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager - Electronics in Switzerland to develop and execute global sourcing strategies for direct electronics materials. The role partners with Business Units, Engineering, and Operations, and aims to strengthen the supply base footprint while achieving cost, quality, and delivery improvements.

You will drive category strategies, manage supplier relationships globally, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple sites, including Eastern Europe.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of strategic and operational sourcing experience.
• Knowledge of global category management.
• Experience in Eastern Europe sourcing and Best Cost Country sourcing.
• Experience in machine building, vacuum technology, and semiconductors.

Responsibilities

• Manage own material categories (capacity, knowledge management, performance).
• Contribute to global Direct Material & Supply Base Performance (QCD).
• Represent direct material categories within the VAT organization.
• Achieve category-specific objectives for cost optimization and supply base improvements.
• Provide forward-looking guidance on trends, threats, and opportunities within assigned categories.
