Job summary

EMEA Recruitment has exclusive mandate to secure a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager for a world-leading consumer goods enterprise in Zurich. The role controls a USD $500M+ spend portfolio and drives category strategy, negotiations, and digital enablement across indirect services.

You will own global category strategies, negotiate high-stakes contracts, and lead regional teams across six zones to implement global playbooks locally.

EMEA Recruitment has been exclusively appointed to secure a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager for a world-leading consumer goods enterprise in Zurich. Controlling a USD $500M+ global spend portfolio, this role drives category strategy, commercial negotiations, and digital innovation across indirect business services.

Key Focus:

• Strategy & Sourcing: Own global category strategies and high-stakes contract negotiations across business services, real estate, fleet, facilities, and professional services.
• Executive Stakeholder Management: Partner directly with global VPs and C-suite leaders to optimize spend, cash flow, and supplier performance.
• Financial Governance: Manage Zero-Based Budgeting policies, spending targets, and payment terms optimization. Global Execution:
• Guide regional procurement teams across 6 geographic zones to implement global sourcing playbooks locally.

Requirements:

• 4–8 years of experience in indirect strategic sourcing, category management, or top-tier strategy consulting.
• Strong analytical track record with advanced quantitative capabilities (data modeling, Excel).
• Proactive, highly accountable "owner" mindset with exceptional cross-functional influence.
• Fluent English; valid right to work in Switzerland is required (EU/EFTA passport or Swiss permit).
