VAT Group AG is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for electronics to lead global direct material sourcing. You will partner with Business Units, Engineering, and Operations to align category strategies and drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements.

Ideal candidates bring 3–4 years in strategic sourcing, experience in Europe/Asia, and strong German and English communication. This permanent role is on-site in Haag with a 100% workload.

Qualifikationen

• 3-4 years of in-depth strategic and operational sourcing experience.
• Experience in Eastern Europe and Asia sourcing, including Best Cost Country sourcing.
• Experience in machine building, vacuum technology, and semiconductors.
• Proficient in German and English.

Aufgaben

• Manage own material categories (capacity, knowledge management, performance).
• Represent Direct Materials category within VAT organization.
• Aim for cost optimization and supply base performance (QCD).
• Provide guidance on trends, threats, and opportunities in assigned categories.
