World Intellectual Property Organization seeks an Assistant Client Advisor to engage with clients and handle formalities for international patent applications. The role requires handling duties in at least two languages, including English, with a focus on quality customer service and accurate data processing.

The incumbent will support publication preparation, respond to client inquiries, and liaise with PCT users and authorities.

Qualifikationen

• First-level university degree.
• At least two years of relevant professional experience with patents.
• Experience with formalities examination of patent applications.
• Excellent written and spoken knowledge of one language and a good knowledge of a second language (one of which is English).
• Knowledge of other PCT publication languages: Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese or Russian.

Aufgaben

• Identify repetitive defects for the same client and coordinate with colleagues.
• Examine formalities in two languages for standard international applications and ensure completeness.
• Provide high-level client services and respond to queries promptly.
• Prepare and review publication work within deadlines for international publication.
