Qualifikationen

• At least three years of relevant professional experience with the PCT, including in an IP office or comparable environment.
• Experience with formalities examination of patent applications.
• Experience in providing customer service and training.
• Excellent written and spoken knowledge of English and excellent written and spoken knowledge of either French or German.
• Knowledge of other PCT languages: Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian or Spanish.

Aufgaben

• Serve as focal point for small and medium sized clients, advising and training to ensure high service quality.
• Provide expert PCT input to development activities related to the PCT system and IT tools.
• Examine formalities in at least two languages for complex international applications and ensure timely follow-up.
• Ensure high level customer service, reply to complex queries, and liaise with PCT users and authorities.
• Sort and distribute work within the team, propose workflow improvements, and meet deadlines.
• Quality control of applications and publication, sharing knowledge in internal meetings.
• Monitor late and non-payment of fees and take appropriate action.
• Participate in customer support on PCT electronic services and test PCT systems.
• Participate in presentations on PCT operations, stay updated on procedures, train junior staff.
