Job summary

Takeda in Zurich, Switzerland seeks a Global Medical Core Capability Strategy Lead at Director level to design and develop Takeda Medical’s worldwide capability architecture. You will shape competency frameworks, role archetypes, and what good looks like descriptors for enterprise-wide Medical roles.

You will partner with Global Scientific Training Leads and broader Medical Excellence to ground frameworks in clinical reality and drive a forward-looking capability roadmap aligned with Vision 2030.

Qualifications

• MD/PharmD/PhD or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry with Medical Affairs exposure.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of Takeda Medical’s global competency frameworks and role archetypes.
• Own the capability maturity model with clear progression standards and levels.
• Translate Vision 2030 into a multi-year capability roadmap for Takeda Medical.
• Define measurable performance indicators and embed in learning ecosystems.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to integrate capability frameworks across Global Medical Leadership and markets.
