Job summary

Weidmann Electrical Technology AG is seeking a Global Key Account Manager to oversee a global key customer in the German market, focusing on transformer OEMs. You will report to the Head of Sales Europe & Africa and build long-term partnerships to drive profitable growth.

The role requires 10+ years of B2B account management in a technical environment, an engineering degree is preferred, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of B2B account management or sales experience in a technical or industrial environment.
• Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred
• Strong knowledge of the transformer industry or proven experience with transformer OEMs
• Proven success in commercial negotiation, contracts and customer relationship development
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across functions in a multicultural environment
• Process-oriented, structured working style and solution-oriented mindset
• Fluent in German (professional level) and English; additional languages are an advantage
• Willingness to travel regularly within Germany and Switzerland, with occasional international travel

Responsibilities

• Build long-term relationships with key customers in Germany and at global account level
• Manage accounts with a focus on transformer OEMs, ensuring customer satisfaction and business continuity
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to support long-term growth and customer partnership
• Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing and contracts, in line with company objectives
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Product Management, Quality and Operations to deliver effective customer solutions
• Maintain account records, prepare sales forecasts and identify risks and opportunities
