Job summary

On, Zurich-based, seeks Head of Retail Talent Acquisition to architect and lead a world-class, field-embedded hiring model. You will guide a global team of regional Senior Talent Partners embedded in the field, shifting from transactional recruiting to a craft-led, strategic TA roadmap that supports our ambitious retail expansion.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in premium retail or performance-brand talent acquisition.
• Proven leadership of distributed recruitment teams.
• Expansion experience with multiple new store openings.
• Ability to influence senior operators and navigate matrixed orgs.
• Fluent communication across global store teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead global transformation of Retail Talent Acquisition—bridging global brand vision with high-touch, field-embedded execution while leading our elevation to premium across every candidate and store touchpoint.
• Architect of the Craft-Led Model: Define the global standards for what it means to be a Field-Embedded Talent Acquisition Partner at On, ensuring consistency in quality and judgement across all regions.
• Expansion Engine: Lead the TA strategy for New Store Openings globally, ensuring that our Retail Recruiters are on the ground, coaching Store Managers and owning the quality of every hire from the first interview to the ribbon-cutting.
• Direct Leadership of Field Partners: Lead, mentor, and empower a distributed team of regional Retail Recruiters. You will coach them on how to influence Area Managers and how to raise the bar on hiring decisions.
• Strategic Partnership: Act as the primary Global Talent Acquisition partner to the Head of Retail Operations and Regional GMs, aligning talent strategy with local market nuances and store performance needs.
• Operational Quality over Quantity: Shift the focus from filling seats to long-term impact. You will be responsible for global metrics that matter: hiring bar quality, early attrition reduction, and the WOW candidate experience.
• Inclusive Excellence: Champion inclusive hiring by ensuring your teams are coaching bias awareness directly into the store-level interview process.
