Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a technically skilled field support engineer to handle first- and second-level inquiries via phone, email, or the central C4C ticketing system. You will remotely analyze faults, restore equipment availability quickly, and travel worldwide to customer sites for installations, commissioning, and maintenance.

You will document every case to resolution, relay feedback to development, and support the on-call rota.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical or electrical engineering vocational training.
• Several years of experience in international mechanical engineering or comparable technical customer service.
• In-depth knowledge of control systems and electrical engineering; experience with industrial control systems is an advantage.
• Good written and spoken German and English; additional languages are an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Handle technical inquiries and issues through first- and second-level support via telephone, email, or the central ticketing system (C4C).
• Remotely analyze faults and quickly restore equipment availability.
• Travel worldwide to customer sites for machine installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, modifications, repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
• Fully document and follow up on every support case through to successful resolution.
• Relay customer feedback to development and product teams.
• Support the on-call and standby service rota.
