Academic Work is seeking a Field Service Technician to ensure seamless operation of testing machinery across Europe. The role blends extensive field travel with technical office work, including 3D design and laboratory reporting, within a collaborative team.

You will install, calibrate, diagnose issues on‑site or remotely, and support OQ activities in a GxP‑compliant environment. Strong English and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical apprenticeship or diploma in mechatronics, automation, or electromechanics, or any relevant field.
• Basic knowledge of metrology instruments or mechanical parts machining.
• Advanced proficiency in English (B2+), including technical terminology.

• Install and commission high‑precision machines at customer production sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration according to established plans.
• Diagnose and repair technical issues on‑site or via remote video support.
• Support operational qualification (OQ) activities and complete GxP‑compliant documentation.
• Instruct customer personnel on correct machine operation and basic maintenance procedures.
• Design mechanical parts and tooling using 3D software when based at the office.
• Conduct instrument testing and prepare analytical reports in the laboratory.
