Job summary

Mimic Robotics AG in Zürich leads with frontier wearable robotics and AI, hiring a hands-on Service Technician (Deployment Support) to ensure system uptime across Europe. You will diagnose hardware and Linux issues remotely, travel for on-site support, and guide customer teams through secure access during downtime.

The role emphasizes proactive maintenance, field problem-solving, and documenting field observations to feed back to R&D. A driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Linux and remote diagnostics.
• Educational foundation in robotics, CS or EE.
• Strong uptime mindset for production environments.
• Valid European driver’s license; willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Calm, methodical problem solver with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Frontline triage for downtime incidents across deployed sites; diagnose remotely via SSH and review logs.
• On-site field interventions for installation, hardware troubleshooting and calibration.
• Coordinate active remote access with customers through Teams or similar tools.
• Perform regular health checks and data verifications to prevent future issues.
• Document field edge cases and hardware behaviors for R&D feedback.
