Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Senior Application Support Specialist to deliver high-level technical support for mass spectrometry in Pharma and Clinical/Forensic markets. The role is field-based in Switzerland (Basel area) with travel across EMEA.

You will help customers develop methods, provide on-site training, and feed insights to sales and product teams while leveraging the Danaher Business System to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree/PhD in chemistry, life sciences or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record in analytical chemistry and mass spectrometry method development/troubleshooting.
• Experience with HPLC-MS technologies; SCIEX instrumentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient pre-sales support through customer visits, demos, seminars and analyses.
• Provide post-sales on-site training and timely customer support to increase satisfaction.
• Gather and relay field insights to Sales & Marketing on competitive activity and market conditions.
• Collaborate with European and global networks to resolve problems and feed into product features.
• Travel across the EMEA region to support customers and provide technical expertise.
