Job summary

Biogen seeks a Senior Manager to lead Europe Medical Strategy and Execution, coordinating regional initiatives with Global Medical and affiliate teams. You will drive governance, patient access initiatives, and data generation programs while managing budgets and leadership communications.

You will partner with senior stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into structured plans, ensuring timely delivery, risk management, and operational excellence in a highly matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years in pharmaceutical/biotechnology/healthcare industry with relevant medical affairs exposure.
• Experience in regional or global medical organizations and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management and execution of EU Medical strategic priorities, coordinating regional initiatives and tracking milestones, risks, and deliverables.
• Provide operational support for regional data generation, medical research initiatives, including budgets and governance reporting.
• Support launch readiness planning and tracking for priority pipeline assets with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Coordinate PHSPs with affiliates, ensuring reporting and governance across EU countries.
• Serve as a liaison between EU Medical, affiliates, Global Medical, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
• Coordinate business planning, metrics, dashboards, KPIs, and leadership reporting.
• Support regional budget planning, forecasting, and quarterly financial reviews.
• Support governance, SOP implementation, and compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate leadership meetings, governance reviews, and congress-related planning.
• Manage ad hoc Medical projects and strategic initiatives as needed.
